Wisconsin School of Business Temperature
- Public Spaces and Classrooms - The temperature within the building is set to a standard 72 (+/- 3) degrees. This is controlled at the campus level by DDC (Direct Digital Controls) and are negotiated during our proposal with to the state for the campus energy budget. This can be changed temporarily (usually for an event) but will remain consistent throughout the year.
- Offices and Breakout rooms - The majority of these spaces are able to be controlled from within the room using the thermostat. These do not fall under the 72 degree standard that our public spaces abide by. With that said, please be sure to set these appropriately and limit the waste of energy.
- Public Spaces, Classrooms, Offices, and Breakout Rooms - The air and heat for these spaces will remain on all year round. It was determined that this is the most efficient way to keep the School of Business at a consistent temperature and control the moisture in the air. If you feel that your air/heat are constantly running on a given day, please send us a request to investigate.
