Improvements to your space that require the development of design documents are considered a building project. At the Wisconsin School of Business, we primarily deal with two project types:

1. Campus Renovation Services Projects - Building improvements that are estimated to be less than $300K
2. Capital Projects - Building improvements that are estimated to be more than $300K

Each project type comes with its own set of guidelines, but both processes are meant to take us from design to concept.

Funding for building projects can come from a variety of sources (central, revenue, research, gift/grant), but in any case, the requestor will be asked to provide a funding string up front which has sufficient funds. All pricing for building projects are developed either by Physical Plant or a 3rd party Architect/Engineer Firm.
